Dearest All!!

I do apologize for the long silence... One thing that I have realized about myself, is that my life is a perplexing journey of ebbs and flows, valleys and mountains, and although I do enjoy routine, it does seem counter to my personality and lifestyle.... HENCE, my little disappearances on and off the web... there are days that are filled with stories that I can't wait to log on and share, and there are days that I need to move inward, process and purge...

Such is Life. Life is beautiful....

SOOOOOO this leads me to the very last minute news that I am heading off to the South of France tomorrow evening for a silversmithing course in anti-clastic raising with a renown silversmith by the name of Brian Clarke.

Destination:

Autignac, a little medieval town in the South of France, an hour from the Spanish border....

I am more than excited... I am ecstatic, I am frantic... I have no idea what its going to be like...

One day I will get into the incredible serendipidous story of how this whole journey came to be, however for now, I have to pack, clean, cook and prepare...

I am taking my mother along, her dream has been to go to the South of France, so she will sip coffee and wine overlooking the vineyards of the Languedoc wine region and I will hammer away at new concepts and ideas.... hoping to bring some new ideas home to the table.

And what would a trip like this be without a visit to Barcelona!! So we are headed to Barcelona for my Birthday on the 11th of October where we will astound our palates with delicious plates, architecture and spanish leather boots!!!

what can I say,  I am a sucker for leather boots...

I have no idea if I will be online or not, but I hope to blog while I am there, and I have recently invested in my first really fantastic camera, so I will be hopefully taking some killer photos to share!!!

Speaking of my new camera, I wanted to share some of my photos....I think they are great, I am not a photographer by any means, however I am thrilled that the photos actually look like what I see to the naked eye.... any comments or constructive criticism are welcome!!!
