Dearest Winter Spirits:

Tis the season of lights, of celebration and wonder.

AND

Insanity.

It seems these days that the holiday seasons just get busier and busier.... The malls are crowded.... We are inundated with commercials, sales, deals and a rush that just gets faster and faster....

Now that we are a four person family, I feel the need to really slow down and reflect on how I will teach my kids to act and perceive this magical and insane time of year.

One thing that I have cherished and will teach my kids to cherish is time with friends and family... Time to be in gratitude for all our blessings and if we are able, to share these blessings with others.

This can happen in many ways...

Yes, gift giving is one way, and we can make this very meaningful if given with shared meals, drinks and time to connect.

Now that we are moving, I feel the need more than ever to share time.

I love anything handmade. Something crafted with time, love, spirit and intention. This is something that seems to be disappearing in the hustle and bustle of corporate culture...

SO.....

I make things, and I support others who make things. Why, because it feels amazing!!

AND it allows me to express my love and gratitude in a deep and meaningful way.

Try it, It feels incredible to make someone's day... to connect, support their family, their dream....

This is what I do... I pour my heart and soul into every piece that I make.... Every leaf, dew drop and swirl.... every stone....

Many of my customers become friends and cherished souls in my life... I remember and honour each one of you.

We don't get this type of connection or experience when we go to the mall, or a corporate store.... We can smile at the cashier, but we will never really know, meet or connect with who or "what" you are really supporting...

We don't support handmade to "get a deal" or a "discount" We do this because it nourishes our hearts and souls while supporting our community.

All I have is what you see on these pages... my heart and soul... my creations... my story....

These pieces carry with them years of living, trying, crying, growing and learning....

They carry something much more than what gives them monetary value. If you are reading this, then you know this, and
