Good Evening darlings!!
Before I tempt your sweet souls with these delights, I have to burst with excitement!!! We enjoyed our very first thunderstorm of the season!!! For those of you who don't know that about me, I am absolutely CRAZY for thunderstorms, they are almost better than mint chocolate!!
Speaking of storms, I would also like to acknowledge these wonderful winds that have been blowing through.... I took a walk with a dear friend through a field, the wind blowing, carrying our voices, speaking to us, blowing through our hair.. I felt cleansed, renewed, and free!!
This week has been a roller coaster, preparing for Costa Rica, the Brantford gem show this weekend, and going through the emotional journey of realizing that my mother will be selling our family home of 30 years...I can't tell you how much I still want to be a little girl... hold on, and feel safe and secure.... I know that this is all part of life and growing up... my reaction has been shocking, I am more connected to this home than I had ever imagined!! Its where I grew up, where I stayed home when I was sick, where I camped in the yard when I thought I was being rebellious...Where I planted my first flower, baked my first batch of cookies, and decorated my first room...It's where I closed myself into my room and played guitar by candlelight, where I cried myself to sleep with my first heartbreak and where I danced around like a fairy princess...Needless to say, I have to let go, I have to grow up and that will be a good thing. I just need more time to convince myself of this....
In hew of all this internal work, I have a brilliant load of jewels for you, "a feel good army" if you will, a tonic for strength, wisdom and clarity... bright colors, textures, leaves, vines, flowers and dew drops... I am not sure if these will make it on etsy before I leave to Costa Rica, however if you love one of these amazing vibrant pieces, just drop me a line!!
